Somethin' About Linda

“Why do you ask so many questions?” Is something Linda Hamblin Denton recalls hearing since childhood. The summer before high school she set a personal goal to read 100 books. Mysteries topped the list, especially since she fancied herself a junior detective. Memoirs, biographies and historical fiction were close seconds because they gave her insight and understanding of how others lived, loved and overcame obstacles. When Linda hit her reading goal she felt like a celebrity in her own mind.

Then and now Linda’s inquisitive nature fuels her passion for storytelling and writing. Her enthusiasm for the written word resulted in a journalism degree from Michigan State University. That led to a career as a television and radio anchor/reporter and talk show host in major markets across the country. Linda has received Emmy awards for her producing and storytelling. She went on to earn acclaim for writing/producing reality TV, documentary, film and podcasting content.

As a narrator Linda’s warm tone, conversational and motivating style makes her a great fit for young adult, self help, cozy mysteries, memoirs and historical fiction. She embraces the characters, their journeys and pours her heart into narrating compelling stories.

Linda lives in Los Angeles. Outside the booth she loves sports including football, which she played in the street as a kid in Detroit, hard hitting, smack talking matches of racquetball with her husband and when the beat drops, dancing like nobody’s watching.
